got that drippy drip drip pan

postby HELLAbeefy » 11/14/13 @ 12:15

So im looking for a new pan this could be wtb but its more of a tech question

Im trying to find out if the 98-05 pans fit on the 94 1.8 im told the only diff is the vvti head. Any one has any help? Apparently I need a new pan so I can put my skid plate on.

You don't want to put some engine lift plates in instead? Probably cheaper than finding/installing a new pan.

Might wanna get both so no more drippy leak leak. I have a 99 block sitting on my stand and can do some measurements to my 97 in my car to see if its the same

Called Brandon at Flying Miata and asked him if they fit he said that the 94 to 05 1.8 pans are all the same then politely told me I was a idiot for having my miata soo low that daily driving it the oil pan was getting shaved off haha oh those hard core miata race car guys lol

I'd call you an idiot too, but I don't have a reputation to uphold.
