Retro Video Games!

postby Nicktorius™ » 10/02/13 @ 23:20

Anything cartridge based! or maybe some Sega CD, Dreamcast, or PS1 chatter too.

Starting things off right... I just picked up these gems today, all 5 for $40. It's crazy how expensive these things are meow.

LOL, I remember playing that at my mom's work when I was younger. I was definitely way too young to be playing or understand half of the sexual innuendos.

I don't have this, but I played it all the time at my friend's house growing up. Well, I watched him and my older brother play it all the time growing up. I still have it as an emulator on my tablet.

^^ Earthbound is actually worth a good bit of money if you still have a copy.

I'd say as retro as you want to go but you pull out anything pre-Atari and you'll likely be talking yourself on here. Also, I'd say the most recent we should discuss would be ps1, maybe Xbox.

Ermagherd Tony Hawk!

My friends and I were too poor to buy the real game but we played the fuck out of the demo when we were younger. That one level where you start and go down a ramp and smash through the glass room over the half pipe.

i have a project. we bought our house from the estate of a guy who bought it back when it was built in 1953. it came with this old console TV, heavy crt screen taking up all the space inside an ornate wood box on casters.

i removed the screen and ditched it, went to Costco and bought an LCD tv that fits the hole perfectly. what am i going to do with all the empty space in the back?

- NES
- Super NES
- N64
- Genesis
- PS2
- PS3
- and the PC i'm currently building to round it out. emulating everything i don't have.

there are enough inputs in the TV to run the old systems on a switch through the composite video, the PS2 through the component and the PS3 and PC through HDMI. there should be space leftover for some nice speakers and a woofer.
