Is there honestly a contest? That'd be like comparing Apollo 11 to Apollo 12.

This site hasn't allowed me to get a damn thing done today...oh and Dungeons and Dragons: Tower Of Doom and it's successor took a lot of my quarters. Along with pretty much every other Capcom arcade brawler game.

Bryan it was a legit question. I liked both for different reasons. What did you guys like.

What did you guys think of a link to the past? I never played it for more than say 20 minutes.

I might pick it up for the gameboy.

My point was that Ocarina did everything first and Majora's Mask wasn't enough better that I'd even consider it a contest, hence the Apollo 11/12 comparison.

Play Link to the Past on SNES, Links's Awakening on Game Boy.

Hate to kill the mood. There were a few games I hated for nes.

E.T. - please help me get out the pit 2 seconds into the game.
Metal Gear - smartest search lights in history. Game was designed by NASA.
Top Gun - I dare you to try and land your plane with even the slightest crosswind.
Where in the world is Carmen San Diego? - after realizing your parents tricked you into playing a learning game, you despise that whales vagina for the rest of your childhood. I just sang the theme song with my new wife, and I might be forced to end the relationship.
90' Silverstone / 99' EGM - it'll buff out / 89' PitCrew :unicorn:

River City Ransom is the grandaddy of all beat-em-ups, and even had some RPG elements. It's an absolute classic.

Oh, and do yourself a favor and don't bother trying to play alone on the Hard difficulty level. You will not be able to make it past the first screen without getting teh beatdown.

Me + Brazil + World Cup = you loose

RBI baseball was titties. If I have Nolan Ryan on the mound, don't bother trying. NL Allstars if I wanted to end it in the first inning.

Hell yes Sploinkin! Base Wars was awesome, right along with Mutant League Football were about the only "sports" games I ever played. And apparently the copyrights for MLF never got renewed and someone bought the rights to remake Mutant League Football. Also the remastered Ducktales game looks great.

On a down note, I tried firing up Rouge Galaxy on my PS2 last night and I got a disc read error. First time I've ever had a problem with my PS2 since I bought it. That thing is like 12-13 years old meow and has just given me it's first tantrum. Unlike my stupid ass 360 which just kept resetting itself when I tried using it last. Hence the dusting off of the Playstation.

FF6>*

From soundtrack, game play, story line, character development and character design; it's the best of the FF series.

If you are one of the un-fortunate ones that never played it, get the emulator.

I always had a thing for its US market predecessor. The story of Kain and Cecil was particularly compelling.

It's a bit cliche, but FF7 really was, in many ways, the best. Certainly had the best fighting system, IMHO.

I have honestly never played through III/VI all the way through...it was, alas, too big for me to finish in one weekend's rental :brokenheart:

(I only finished II/IV because a friend of mine bought a used copy specifically because he wanted to finish it, then passed it to me)
