Unless someone with hammerfists get their hands on it, it won't fail.

Thank you all for the support.

My good friend from college that works for Ferrari has been looking for a miata.... He really wants the 90'.

So, at this point, it looks like I'll be keeping the red 94' aka project knight rider. I've already registered the car and have it insured. The nice thing is, I plan on still building the 1.8 swap I picked up.

For meow, consider project Corky sold.

Miata parts / big screen tv boxes don't fit in NB's.

I obviously have issues with indecisiveness. Picked these up about a month ago. Lotus Elise slim fit Cobra Racer Pro's. Price couldn't be beat, so I jumped on it.

Found both a 1.6 and 1.8 Racing Beat intake for stupid cheap as well. Sitting next to me ATM.

Question for discussion. I have a few different options with many pro's and con's to each. We all know I have three cars right meow. The 1.6 NA.... 1.8 Torsen 94' NA.... and the 99' NB to play with as well.

As far as parts go.....

Torsen for the 1.6 to replace the open diff.
1.8 turbo setup with a tapped oil pan minus a few small bits.
Complete 1.8 swap with trans collecting dust.
Last but not least, I was offered a M45 blower with TDR tensioner and all necessary bits. (NB kit)

Don't have standalone for any of the cars meow, but obviously MegaSquirt will solve that.

So, I'm not sure which car(s) to keep and what forced induction route(s) to go. This is where I need the communities help. What would you guys and girls do?

Thanks!

I would honestly pick and choose to build one car and thin out the herd. Build one car just how you want it and use the others to make some money to fund that project.

That's what I'm leaning towards. The big question is do I keep the NB or flip it and focus on the the NA? I'm thinking about getting rid of the NB because of how cheap it was to purchase and the resale value since it's still completely unmolested.

The hard part will be letting it go. Putting the M45 on the NB would be a super fun yet reliable daily. But, a blown or turbo 1.8 swapped NA would be rad too. Ugh.

@Teejay - That's what I needed to hear. I love the car. Next question... would you put a M45 on it? I love how simple and unmolested it is, and I'm thinking the charger would be a better option (reliable) than turbocharging it. I can get a kit with a TDR pulley and tensioner with AEM wideband for cheap.

The car has been sitting for quite some time. To prevent concerns from building due to its stagnant status, I have been starting and driving the car short distances on a weekly basis. Since the accident, I have only been able to start the car keeping fluids moving.
:jism:

It is currently stripped besides one of TeeJay's first ever 3-D printed knobs, Koni yellows with ground control sleeves 1985 carbon fiber Recaro, and GarageStar seat rails. Before we go any further, I'd like to talk a little bit more about the accident...

I don't know how things will work out in the end, but I know how they began. So here are a few pictures to get things started.

Right? The responses to the pictures have been priceless. I'm actually impressed with how the car crumpled after seeing it in person.

To be completely honest, I don't know. Doctors have not told me the extent of the damage from the first and second round of films (x-rays) or the CT from the initial trauma. I will be meeting with an orthopedic surgeon very soon that is going to diagnose my knees and shoulder. My biggest hope is that MRI's are ordered to further investigate the source of my pain and lack of mobility. Apparently chest philms are the most difficult to read. Guess that explains why the doctors initially couldn't see the lung collapse or clearly view the fractures.
