Hmmpf.

:suicide:

Okay, I'm letting myself get down. Fuck. Focus.

I just brought a second B6 head ($125) with intake manifold, that will be getting some GSXR ITBs slapped onto it.

This build is nothing like my previous one. This one is being done properly.... I hope..

What's that?

safety? sounds lame. and extra weight.

Okay, no picture is not finished, I popped in last night after work to see how it was looking, they are fabricating my seat mounts at the moment, then once the seat is in they can figure out where to place the harness bar :)

So track day yesterday was... Eventful. The car started off in the 1.36 area, knocked it down to consistent 1.30 and ran a best of 1.29

Things to tackle, are the tyres, they were by far my biggest problem, just not gripping, suspension, had some killer body roll, and more weight removal and I should be getting closer to my target of 1.23

Hayabusa pipes are meow sitting in the back of the Audi, waiting on some money to free up before I get them fitted, should create a lot more usable space!

If you think I am spending money on getting my car to sound "cool" you're wrong, these were free from a lady at work.

Chopped another 8kg out of my drivers door, just need to get the hole saw out meow!

Hahahaha Pukekohe is actually a "city" in NZ as well.

Hayabusa muffler is going on next Wednesday,

Just picked up some Bilstein shocks for $50 (winning)

Need to find some springs to run with them.
New wheels are getting picked up on caturday, then some new rubber the weekend after.

Things are going well!

Just dropped the car off to DKM Fabrication to get my Hayabusa Muffler put on, should be back in the garage tonight.

I sold my old shocks and lowering springs for $200, and got a set of bilstein shocks for $50, so just need to pick up some springs for them.

Whilst the car was shockless, I decided to attack the calipers and make them a little nicer on the eyes.

Also - because everyone likes pictures..

Also picked up a manual rack :)

Whoop - got my bilsteins yesterday.

However, the top hats have been removed.. Cock.

So off to get top hats, and springs in the next week (I hope)

Also Hayabusa muffler is on, and sounds pretty decent!

Been lazy. Took dads porsche to the track with him yesterday, had a lot of fun!

So, I have finally got some bushings for the car, just paying them off slowly (budget life sucks)

Welding is something I've always wanted to learn, so yesterday whilst out shopping for a tool bag, I got distracted and purchased an arc welder.

Had a lot of practice yesterday, tonight I will be attacking the seat mounts to get them LOW.

More LOW than you pussies have ever seen.

Maybe.

And looking into getting a Nissan.

Should be good.

I can't wait to get home and get welding.. Work is fucking dragging on today.. Anywho, check my instaphag for latest updates and shizz.

Seam welding is done, the seat was test fitted yesterday and fuck me is it low.

Going to be redoing them for a third time tonight, because I wasn't totally happy with how I have them at the moment.

Once I have the seat rails in and finished and I am happy with them I will then start to finish off the dash wiring, and get the spacers for my steering column, as well as relocating the gauge cluster.

Progress :D
